Yakult Visit

SOME-Tech -(Society Of MECHATRONICS Engineering & Technology) of MAHARISHI MARKANDESHWAR ENGINEERING COLLEGE, MM UNIVERSITY MULLANA, conducted an INDUSTRIAL VISIT for 58 students on receiving the letter of permission from YAKULT DANONE (I) Pvt. Ltd.  out of which 51 students were from M.M. ENGINEERING College and 7 students  from M.M. Institute of HOTEL MANAGEMENT  with 3 faculty members went on an industrial visit to YAKULT’s Plant at RAI-SONEPAT (HARYANA) on 9 October 2013.
A PLANT representator received us at the entrance and gave a brief introduction of the Plant. We were given masks to be worn.  Then he took us from one section to the next and explained the process involved in the making of PROBIOTIC Drinks. Everyone was wearing masks. They showed how oxygen would be supplied in case of any toxic leak, etc. A few robots were also employed to do certain repetitive minor operations.
It was an informative, interesting and a successful visit. They appreciated our keen interest and the knowledge of the students about the working technology.
As students of ENGINEERING and MANAGEMENT, we learned a few mechanical, electronics application, industrial robotics and food processing techniques. We express our thanks to our HEAD OF  DEPARTMENT (HOD) who permitted us to go on the visit, the faculty members who accompanied us and the officials who exlpained the varoius departments.

This INDUSTRIAL VISIT adds a new milestone to “SOME-Tech”  journey.
